I’d been suffering with clinical depression for many years before I began meeting with Gregory Lowder. Early into our sessions, when I was trying to explain to him how I was feeling, he said quietly, “I understand depression.” Indeed he did. Within a few months I began to feel better; he gave me several practical ways to deal with that daily heaviness, and was able to identify patterns of thought I needed to alter to recover. After about 7 months, I felt a lot better, and within a year I no longer needed to see him- the depression had receded. I’d recommend him to anyone.

I was skeptical at first, but Dr. Lowder’s patience and professionalism allowed me to quickly become quite comfortable with him. Our weekly conversations were incredibly helpful in every facet of my life, from work to personal relationships. My visits would become something that I looked forward to, even if it meant a sometimes lengthy commute. And best of all, and I’m not really even sure how, the panic attacks stopped almost immediately and I regained my strength and focus steadily over time without undergoing any other treatments or taking any medications. There is no doubt in my mind that Dr. Lowder played a major role in my progression, if not the main role. I am so grateful to him and am so incredibly happy that I managed to find the perfect doctor at my time of greatest need. If you are dealing with anxiety or depression, I can’t imagine there being a better person to see than Dr. Lowder. Highest possible recommendation.

I was in rough shape when I first walked through Dr. Lowder’s door. It didn’t happen over night, but I did pretty soon start to feel relief as we sorted out what had led me to feel so bad. Most importantly I worked to understand why the terrible depression I’d been feeling for more than a year had set in, which helped me feel much stronger and capable of living my life differently and to avoid getting depressed again. Dr. Lowder’s professionalism, competence, and genuine humanity are second to none, highly recommend.
